What we collect
- Vehicle details you enter: make, model, year, kilometres, state, and any variant or specification you add.
- Registration or VIN, if you use a vehicle check: used only to find the car and run the check you chose. [Confirm before checks go live.]
- Technical details: your address and a short-lived token that proves the form came from this site. We use these to limit misuse. They are not used to identify you.
- Payment and contact details, if you buy a report: handled by our payment provider. We do not see or keep your card number. [Confirm before payments go live.]
We do not ask you to create an account. We do not collect your name, phone number or address to give you an estimate.
How we use it
- To produce your valuation, market information and comparable cars.
- To deliver, and if needed support or refund, a report you bought.
- To keep the service working and to stop misuse, such as repeated automated requests.
Who receives it
Vehicle details are sent to MotorMetrics, which supplies the valuation and comparable data. Registration and VIN checks, when switched on, use a vehicle data supplier. Payments use a payment provider. They receive only what is needed for their part. We do not sell your information.
How long we keep it
Valuation answers are kept for 24 hours so the same car is not looked up again. [Report records, receipts and payment records: retention period to be decided.]

Your choices
