What the reports are
- A valuation is an estimate of dealer-market value. It is not an offer to buy, a guarantee, or a private-sale price.
- Prices are EGC, which means excluding government charges, unless a price is marked as advertised.
- The confidence rating describes the evidence behind the estimate. It is not an accuracy percentage or the chance that a car sells at that price.
- A modelled trade-in range is a model, not a dealer offer. It does not allow for condition, service history or reconditioning.
- Comparable cars show their advertised prices. A car marked sold has stopped being advertised, which suggests a sale but does not prove one. The price shown is its last advertised price, not a verified sale price.
- Vehicle checks, when available, show the records returned when the check was run. They do not cover everything about a car. Inspect the car and confirm its details yourself before you buy.
Using the site
- Use the site for your own, lawful purposes. Do not copy our data in bulk, use automated tools to collect it, or try to get around limits.
- Enter details you are entitled to use. We may refuse or limit requests that look like misuse.

Our data and attribution

We take care to make the information accurate, but the market changes and data can be incomplete. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses from decisions you make based on a report. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
